Wow. 5 years, guys. It’s a big one. Short and sweet. To Avenged Sevenfold, Warner Brothers Records, World Audience and all of the fans, please know how much I mean it when I say – Thank y’all SO much for everything. I am so appreciative and thankful. We all have a lot to look forward to together.

With that said – This will likely be the last birthday post (not the last birthday!) for Deathbat News but every year when November 17th rolls around there’s no doubt I’ll reflect on the history of the website. Here’s to many more. Stay connected with Deathbat News on Twitter and Facebook. Good morning peeps!

Another Thursday, another Tribute…

Today’s tribute was introduced to me by a sweet small-town boy I dated a while back. This boy was literally obsessed with them, and with good reason too!

Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold or (A7X) is a heavy metal, hard rock, metalcore band from Huntington Beach, California who formed in the late 1990’s.

 Members: M. Shadows the vocalist, Synyster Gates the lead guitarist, Zacky Vengeance the rhythm guitarist and Johnny Christ the bassist.

The band has 5 albums to their name,   one live album/compilation/DVD, and eighteen singles and sold more than four million albums worldwide (thank you Wikipedia!)

In my own opinion they’re like a modern version of Metallica, but you can make your own mind up about them:
